The Tellington TTouch or TTouch is an holistic teaching method for any animal, offering positive solutions to common behavioural and health related problems. Unlike more traditional training methods that enforce and dominate, I use communication and kindness to bring about new responses, which is why it literally works with ANY animal. If you love your pet why would you want to enforce anything upon them? Don’t you both deserve a method that respects the individual, be it the human or the animal, working to reinforce and bond the relationship more? Nearly 30 years ago a very special lady called Linda Tellington-Jones noticed with her horses that as performance improved so did posture, then as posture & performance improved so did behaviour. Unwanted behaviour just started to diminish without actually having to directly address the behaviour problem. What Linda was doing with the TTouches was addressing the reason why the problem arose in the first place. As a Tellington TTouch Practitioner I look to improve overall physical balance which in turn addresses the mental and emotional balance to influence undesirable behaviour in ANY animal. For example, when TTouches are combined with ground exercises for dogs it helps improve co-ordination & balance, thereby improving self confidence. |
TESTIMONIAL I could not believe the change in my dog in just a few weeks after the workshop. My dog used to mouth me and brushing him was a nightmare. The agility is good now the mouthing/biting me is only if things have changed in his life like the new puppy we now have. I just make sure I do all the TTouches, especially around his mouth. He now wants to be calm and I stay that way too now because I do the TTouches before we start the agility. Sometimes he is so excited I keeping things calm with TTouch and when he finishes he looks at me and rests his head on me and we have the best partnership all thanks to you Mark and TTouch.
